Our older son asked his dad, his brother, and a friend to draw a picture showing a front yard scene. The perspective was supposed to be there, showing the tree in the middle of the yard, the mailbox near the street, and the street at the edge of the yard. Two drew it from the side, two drew an aerial view. I was the tiebreaker. I drew it as seen from just inside the front door of the house. "Mom, you got it completely wrong!" he fussed. I started laughing. I was the only one who had thought inside the box - which was outside everyone else's boxed way of thinking.
