What is the difference between, "Nancy, come here." and, "NANCY, GET YOURSELF IN HERE RIGHT NOW."??

  • The latter request usually has a substitute word for "yourself" (usually "your _ _ _"), and it has a eerie effect on the speed to which Nancy responds.
